Moon Beam Media is a youth film-making group based in South Lakeland.
We have made an extensive range of genres including comedy, horror, and documentary.

We have a dedicated team of actors, video editors, camera operators and script writers all of whom are volunteers under the age of 18.

We have been funded by Cumbria County Council's 'Youth Opportunities Scheme' who have kindly donated £1,241 to help us purchase new equipment.

Being a non-profit organization we can offer professional digital video services at very competitive prices. We can film events, edit, master and much more - just email us to discuss!

Our latest film, 'A Frosty Reception' was our largest scale project so far and involved filming for 5 days in the Shap fells in harsh winter conditions.

On set at 'A Frosty Reception' all crew members are hard at work.

Tommy Moore, a guest at the first screening of 'A Frosty Reception' said, "I have been following Moon Beam Media's work for many years and I must say that this is their best piece yet! Each film they produces improves ten-fold on the previous one, watch this space for more fantastic creativity from these talented youths!"

'The Camp' (2008) a short horror film, won second place in the Keswick film festival under 18's category.
