'A slickly produced horror movie with all the classic elements of the slasher genre'
                                                    -Keswick Film Festival 2009

In the hills and woods surrounding the quiet market town of Ulverston an evil is stirring..

Set on Hoad hill the Camp is about some teenagers that go camping. One by one a mysterious assailant picks the campers off. How many survive? Buy the film and find out!

The Camp is Moon Beam Media's first ever horror film.

It was filmed and edited from October to December 2008, with the script being developed from September.

The majority of the filming took place over October half term, with only some scenes having to be filmed afterwards.

Who created It and who Developed the Horror?

The MBM Members who thought of the basic storyline
and script structuring for this new production were Jack Filmore and Tom Worgan.

Jack Filmore is probably best known for his portrayal of the infamous and unusually cruel 'Evil Dude' from the
'Evil In The Mountains' released last December.

A keen interest for this fresh new film project was developed that gave off positive and high hopes right from the beginning to right to the end.

The horror is the first ever production that has been filmed with the brand new Sony camera that was bought by a £1,500 grant from a Cumbria County Council youth opportunities scheme.

Throughout the film the professional film quality is evident.

Character Profiles

Jared:
An ignorant, arrogant and selfish teenage punk, Jared is relatively hurtful, angry and miserable, he mostly portrays these through his stern facial look and abrupt/uncivilized voice. He has many friends and therefore comes across as very popular and indeed likeable, possibly very hot, despite his hair and fashion and his drinking ways.

Played by Tom Worgan
